Meredith grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley and has been an avid athlete her entire life. She played soccer, volleyball and basketball in high school. She then attended Colorado State University where she ran cross-country and track at a collegiate level and received a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Meredith moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2002 and got married and started her family.
After being introduced to CrossFit in 2010, Meredith was instantly hooked. It encompassed everything she loved about exercise, body and mind, with the intensity she appreciated from organized sports. She knew then that CrossFit would be a large part of her life moving forward. She got her Level 1 in 2013 and has been coaching ever since, and she added her Level 2 to her list of accolades in 2017. Meredith enjoys helping people meet and surpass their goals. She recognizes that it doesn’t matter if someone has been doing CrossFit for 10 years or 10 days - it's hard! It forces athletes to dig deep and keep working regardless of their fitness level. For Meredith, the beauty comes when an athlete is proud of their accomplishments in the gym - maybe even surprised by what they can achieve - and they are able to incorporate that confidence into everyday life.
