Laurel Tesoro

Born and raised in Aspen, Laurel grew up engaged in all the outdoor activities the valley has to offer. Not one for team sports, she became a bit of a gym rat and aerobics class enthusiast (Step class, anyone??) in the ’80s and ‘90s. She discovered CrossFit 10 years ago as a mom of two young kids when the first CrossFit affiliate opened in the valley. She’s never looked back and her children spent their formative years at the box. She earned her Level 1 certification in 2012 and began coaching in 2013. Laurel loves the community aspect of CrossFit and is committed to making CrossFit accessible to everyone. She clearly remembers how empowering her early CrossFitting experience was and cherishes the opportunity to help others discover and hone their personal strength.
