Sopris CrossFit 101:
Step 1: Check out the gym.
Saturday 9:00 am classes are always free and open to all. If you would like to get a taste of our
community, feel free to come for a Saturday WOD (workout of the day). You are also welcome

Step 2: Sign up for Base Camp.
Base Camp is a 6-class, 2-week course designed to introduce you to the foundational movements
of CrossFit. We utilize a wide variety of exercise movements in CrossFit. Base Camp will set
you up for success, ensuring that you have a good foundation to build upon in regular classes.
Each Base Camp class introduces some new movements and includes a WOD (workout of the
day). CrossFit takes practice, and Base Camp focuses on proficiency and consistency before
Step 3: Jump into the CrossFit community.
Your journey has just begun. Our coaches will take extra care to help introduce you into regular
classes. You will thrive in the community of like-minded individuals who have decided
mediocrity just isn’t good enough. Our community trains hard and plays harder. From team
workouts on the weekends, to social gatherings for any given occasion, Sopris CrossFit is more
than a gym – it’s a lifestyle.
Step 4: Educate yourself
CrossFit isn’t just about physical fitness. Sopris CrossFit will supply you with opportunities to
educate yourself in nutrition, injury prevention and more. It will be up to you to take advantage
of these extras!
